Jarmar Muhammad

Jarmar Muhammad is from Birmingham, Alabama, he is a proud graduate of Woodlawn High School, where he laid the foundation for his academic journey. Following his passion for education, he pursued his higher studies at Alabama State University. In doing so, he successfully completed his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, thus equipping him with a strong educational background.

With a remarkable 23 years of experience in the field of education, he has had the privilege of serving as a principal for seven years. That role allowed him to contribute to the growth and development of countless students, which has been an incredibly rewarding experience.

Currently, he is serving as an assistant professor at Alabama State University, where he has the opportunity to share his knowledge and expertise with aspiring educators. He truly enjoys being able to shape the minds of future educators and contribute to the advancement of the Instructional Leadership Program.
