Patricia C. Timmons
Patricia C. Timmons is a Boston, Massachusetts native and a professional in higher education. She is a researcher, scholar, and practitioner. She earned her B.S. in Applied Psychology from Coppin State University and M.Ed. in School Guidance Counseling from Cambridge College. Recently, she attained her Doctor of Education in Higher Education – Community College Leadership at Morgan State University. Her dissertation focused on the experiences of Black community college students who participated in study abroad and how it impacted their academic performance and global workforce preparation. Patricia's research interests include international education, curriculum internationalization, DEI, and a sense of belonging in community colleges. Currently, she serves as the Market, Business, and Government (MBG) Area Administrator at Harvard Kennedy School, where she assists in courses offered for the area and leads the team in faculty hiring administration.
