Magy Georges is a doctoral candidate in the Higher Education program at Rutgers University, under the guidance of the esteemed Dr. Marybeth Gasman. Her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University Newark sparked her commitment to supporting underrepresented student populations. With experience in the Packaging Engineering Program at the Rutgers School of Engineering, Magy's focus shifted towards promoting the recruitment and retention of women in Applied Science Engineering, an interdisciplinary program. Her research aims to contribute to the scholarship on women in STEM fields, providing practical recommendations for enhancing gender diversity and equity. Magy's unwavering belief in the power of higher education drives her dedication to creating an inclusive environment where all students are empowered to succeed and thrive.
