Liba Pejchar
Liba Pejchar is a Professor and Conservation Scientist in the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology at Colorado State University. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on restoring biodiversity and ecosystem services in the places where people live and work. Among other projects, she and her terrific students study the loss and recovery of birds in the pacific islands, bison reintroduction in western North America, and innovative ways to sustain nature and human well-being in agricultural and urban ecosystems. Her lab is committed to advancing equity and justice in science and society.
