Joanna L. Jenkins
At the intersection of creative, industry, and academia, Joanna L. Jenkins drives insights and prepares spaces for students and professionals to thrive in their education and careers. Joanna is the author/co-author/-editor of works like Insecure, Awkward and Winning: Intersectionality of Race, Gender and Class, The Convergence Crisis, and TED Talk "Reimagining the Ad Revolution." Joanna has created curricula and conducted research in workplace equity, media representation, visual culture, Millennial/Gen Z perspectives, and corporate social responsibility (CSR). As art/creative director she creates designs and integrated campaigns for a variety of brands and entrepreneurs including Calvin Klein, Topps Inc., Verizon, U.S. Census, and Bermuda Tourism. An educator and administrator (Howard University, American University, Bowie State, and Moore College of Art and Design), Joanna is a consultant and affiliate professor at St. Joseph’s University.
