Erin McNamara Horvat

Erin McNamara Horvat serves as Senior Vice Provost, Faculty Advancement and Interim Dean of the School of Education at Drexel University. A sociologist of education, Horvat served as a professor of Urban Education at Temple University and conducted research on access and equity in the education pipeline prior to her administrative career. She remains deeply interested in these issues and is part of two NSF Advance Grants and an NIH FIRST Grant at Drexel focusing on increasing diversity in the faculty and systemic change in our hiring and promotion practices.
