Brandon W. Jones

Brandon W. Jones is a speaker, lecturer, student affairs practitioner, and minister. He serves as Associate Director for Student Learning and Development in Housing and Dining at the University of Texas at Austin. He also teaches the “Interpreting Black Rage” course in the College of Liberal Arts. Brandon is very passionate about helping students realize their purpose and make the most of their college experience. He specializes in student athlete development, student success, minority student achievement, academic support programs, and curriculum development. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design and master’s degree in Higher Education from Abilene Christian University. He also earned his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2015.
