Beverley Gaines

Beverley Gaines has more than 10 years of educational experience in both K-12 and higher education settings providing operational support to K-12 schools, human resource teams, and doctoral programs. Additionally, Beverley has served as a Graduate Coordinator at Guttman Community College providing holistic student support to first-year students through the facilitation of a first-year seminar course. Beverley joined the Undergraduate Education division of Office of the Chancellor-Provost in 2022 as the Senior Project Coordinator. In this role, she provides day-to-day support and project management of the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) National Science Foundation grant program. Additionally, Beverley works closely with campus partners and external stakeholders to develop and manage programming to promote student success for first-generation students. She holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Seton Hall University with a research focus on postsecondary access, persistence, completion.
